Angie is one of London’s highly respected chefs, but did you know that she was originally born and raised in South Africa? When she was just 13 years old, Angie started working in her family’s restaurant and then worked in a luxury lodge before making the move to London.
Since then, she has won national catering awards and appeared on television, working with the famous and internationally respected Gordon Ramsay on his show Kitchen Nnightmares. Angie also has experience working with Michelin-starred chefs and cooking for multiple A-list private clients.
Beyond Angie’s extensive knowledge of food and the culinary world, she is also passionate about what she does; a passion which has taken up permanent residence in the café. We care about our customers and we get a kick out of serving them delicious cuisine every day of the week.
Our leader’s talent and experience is not the only thing that makes Angie’s unique. As mentioned, we serve brunch all-day to give our customers the opportunity to enjoy our cuisine whenever hunger strikes. In fact, even dogs are welcome at Angie’s!

Our menu has a range of sweet and savoury options, all of which are unpretentious (yet incredibly tasty) and affordable, too! We also have vegan- and gluten-free-friendly food on offer, so there is always a little something for everyone.
If we can recommend a dish, however, everyone should try our Eggs Benedict at least once. This is a fan favourite amongst our patrons and offers farm-fresh eggs, generous portions, and lovely flavours. For those with a sweet tooth, we have plenty of options for you, too. You can try our crispy toasted banana bread with berries, yoghurt, honey and banana slices. The toast has a lovely crispiness to it and the berries are deliciously fresh and juicy.
