Can I Make Sandwich Platters The Day Before? 


You can prepare your sandwich platters in advance to make serving on the event day a little easier. Keep in mind, however, that Angie’s platters are best served fresh. Our platters are prepared on the day of delivery and arrive ready to serve. If you would like time to prepare your board beforehand, you can schedule our platter delivery a few hours in advance to ensure your guests are able to enjoy the freshest, quality morsels. 

 

How To Make The Best Sandwich Platters? 


As mentioned earlier, Angie’s platters and Working Lunches arrive tastefully plated on biodegradable platters. However, if you would like to add your own spin to the presentation, building your board couldn’t be more simple. All you have to do is follow the instructions we have laid out below and have a little bit of fun with it. It’s your platter, after all.  

 

  • Pick out a serving bowl to suit however many people you are entertaining. This will serve as the base for your platter. We recommend flatter, wider dishes, rather than deep dishes. 
  • Lay a piece of parchment paper down on your platter dish. This will make clean-up much easier when the event is over and the platters have been eaten up by your guests. 
  • Add your hand-picked, tasty morsels delivered fresh from Angie’s. You can take your pick of a variety of wraps, skewers and other Working Lunch options.  
  • Add all of your spreads, condiments and seasonings to little bowls. You can then place them around the platter or right in the centre for easy access. You can also garnish the dish with fresh leaves or drizzle some Rapeseed or Olive Oil to freshen up the food. 
  • Remember to remove the food from the fridge at least 45 minutes before serving, so that your deliverables are at room temperature.
